The Tubac Center of the Arts is not only one of the most popular art galleries in Tubac, AZ, it’s also a celebration of all artforms, both fine and performing.

On top of numerous art exhibitions throughout the year, the center also regularly hosts artist workshops for those interested in developing and improving their artistic talents. There are also musical performances that span a number of genres that bring artists from across the state.

Cobalt Fine Arts Gallery

Over the last few decades, Cobalt Fine Arts Gallery has established itself as a premier destination for lovers of fine art. 

The gallery showcases numerous exhibitions and artwork, with an emphasis on painting, glass, ceramics, and jewelry. While the artwork shown can feature a number of different styles, their curated collection definitely leans towards natural and indigenous themes, specifically focused on the Southwest.

K Newby Gallery & Sculpture Garden

• Hours: Thurs - Mon: 11 AM - 4 PM; Closed Tues - Wed (Garden open 24 hours)

For over 30 years, the K. Newby Gallery has garnered a reputation for being one of the best galleries in Tubac, AZ. As such, the gallery is currently one of the biggest parts of the artist community in the village.

The gallery  exhibits a wide range of artists, mediums, and genres. Their stated goal is to provide a day full of unexpected treats and pleasures for guests as they tour both the gallery and sculpture garden. 

The garden is open to the public and makes for a wonderful experience, strolling the grounds while appreciating some of the best sculptures around.



Rogoway Turquoise Tortoise Gallery

• Hours: Daily, 10 AM - 4 PM (May through Sept), 10 AM - 5 PM (October to April)

The Turquoise Tortoise Gallery is one of the longest standing galleries in Tubac. There is a wide range of artwork to be admired here, from fine art to handcrafted jewelry to artisan clocks. As the name suggests, there is a definite turquoise theme with the artwork, both the color and the stone.
